The new face of the Grand Hotel Palatino
The Grand Hotel Palatino has just undergone an extraordinary transformation led by architect Marco Giammetta of the well-known and prestigious Giammetta Architects studio. The building, originally built in the 1960s and 1970s as part of a real estate development plan aimed at satisfying the growing tourist demand, will be transformed into a state-of-the-art facility, in line with modern and contemporary times.
The building’s “modern/rationalist” architectural features have inspired a redevelopment project that will take guests on a journey through architectural styles: ancient (the historic city), modern (the building) and contemporary (the interior design). This perceptual journey will represent a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the history of architecture.
The distinctive element of this renovation is the concept of the “Hidden Gems”, an experience that combines art, photography, architecture, graphics and design to reveal those new elements of the Eternal City that often escape conventional tourist circuits.
