Solidarity for flood victims in Tuscany
Our FH55 Hotels Group has launched a solidarity initiative to support the communities affected by the recent floods in Tuscany.
The project was championed by Federico Isola, one of the group’s partners, and confirms the company’s ongoing commitment to be a beacon of hope in times of need and serve the wellbeing of the community.
Various materials were donated including furniture, furnishing accessories, desks, kitchens, bathrooms and bathroom accessories, lamps, beds, mattresses and textile items such as blankets, duvets, sheets and bathroom linen. Much of the material comes from the Grand Hotel Palatino in Rome, which is currently being renovated.
This gesture is just the first step in a solidarity initiative spearheaded by Federico Isola and Claudio Catani, the group’s vice president.
“Solidarity is a fundamental pillar of our commitment as FH55 Hotels,” stated Federico Isola. “We are determined to make our resources available, first and foremost, to support anyone who has suffered severe losses as a result of the flooding. Every contribution, however small it may seem, makes a difference to the people who are faced with rebuilding their lives.”
This act of generosity is just the beginning of a wider commitment that will soon involve the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo in Florence, with the donation of furniture from 26 rooms.
Also supporting the hotel’s charitable activities are the association, Cavalieri di Sant'Appiano, the “Ragazzi di Firenze”, including the Fiorentina football supporters group of the ‘Curva Fiesole’ and the ‘Calcio Storico Fiorentino’, together with the members of the ‘Calcio Antico Romano’ in Rome and the Civil Defence.
