Matthias Martelli - Mistero Buffo - Saturday 29 March

Eugenio Allegri directs Matthias Martelli in a new performance of 'Mistero Buffo', considered to be Dario Fo's masterpiece. The play, which has been performed over 200 times in Italy and all over the world, moves skilfully from comic laughter to poetry and human and social tragedy, demonstrating the groundlessness of the dominant ideology of the time.

Paolo Rumiz and Vangelis Merkouris - Il Legno del mare e Divagazioni sulla malinconia - Monday 31st March

Writer Paolo Rumiz takes a double journey through the song of the wood of migrant boats, which becomes a stringed instrument played by musician Vangelis Merkouris. The story becomes a reflection on melancholy, traversing the Mediterranean in search of a feeling that combines love and sadness.

Max Adiansi - Architerror - Wednesday 9th April

Max Adiansi is the creator and author of Architerror, a popular social site that ironically catalogues bad examples of architecture in Italy and elsewhere. His meetings with Architerror become real shows, as his motto is "Let's study the ugly to understand the beautiful".

Roberto Mercadini - Moby Dick - Saturday 12th April

Roberto Mercandini leads us to discover Moby Dick, Melville's famous novel, not as a simple story, but as an enigmatic and mystical work, a literary "monster" that goes beyond mere narration. The author emphasises that Moby Dick cannot be told exhaustively, but must be suggested through "glowing fragments" that hint at its light and warmth, its inexhaustible power.

Roberto Abbiati and Leonardo Capuano-Pasticceri. Io e mio fratello Roberto - Wednesday 16th April.

Two twin brothers with different characteristics: one has a moustache and the other does not, one stutters and the other does not. One loves custard, the other loves poetry and recites it with passion. A show to live and discover.

Scuola di Musica di Fiesole - Tuesday 1st April.

The Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, an institution of great tradition and prestige in the city's musical culture, will open the musical programme of the Primavera Fiesolana 2025 Festival. This prestigious ensemble, which already delighted audiences with an acclaimed concert at the Teatro di Fiesole last year, is preparing to return to the stage to open the new edition of the festival in grand style.

Roberto Cacciapaglia - Time To Be - Wednesday 2 April.

Roberto Cacciapaglia, the renowned composer and pianist from Milan, returns to perform live with his new project 'Time to Be'. Renowned for his ability to combine classical, avant-garde and contemporary music, Cacciapaglia will perform at the Primavera Fiesolana Festival, offering the audience an unprecedented experience of sounds and emotions.

Giulio Wilson and Tonino Carotone - Mondo divino - Saturday 5th April

The Florentine musician Giulio Wilson and the international artist Tonino Carotone will present their musical project 'Mondo divino' on stage. In this event, eagerly awaited by music lovers, the two artists will combine their skills and creativity to offer the public a unique and captivating show.

Simona Molinari - Thursday 10th April.

The Neapolitan musician, winner of two Targhe Tenco and well-known in the world of jazz and swing, will present her latest work 'Hasta Siempre Mercedes', which includes an intense interpretation of Lucio Dalla's 'Caruso'. The concert will also include some songs from her latest album, including her version of 'Gracias a la vida', 'Cancion de la simples cosas' and the previously unreleased song 'Nu fil e voce', written for her by Bungaro.

Francesco Guccini: fra la Via Emilia e il West - Introduction by Benedetto Ferrara, Finaz and Beppe Dati - Tuesday, April 8.

The famous concert film "Francesco Guccini: fra la Via Emilia e il West", recorded in Bologna on June 21, 1984, has been completely restored and will be screened in its entirety at the Teatro di Fiesole. This is a unique opportunity to relive on the big screen the intense emotions of that memorable evening. The film will be preceded by a special introduction by Francesco Guccini, created especially for this cinematic event.

Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense - Introduction by Benedetto Ferrara, Finaz and Beppe Dati - Tuesday, April 8.

The film, directed by Jonathan Demme, is an important milestone in the rock documentary genre. It immortalized the Talking Heads' performance at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles in December 1983, when David Byrne's band was at the height of its popularity. The all-star lineup performed such hits as "Psycho Killer," "Life During Wartime," and "Once in a Lifetime," now available in a remastered version edited by the group's guitarist and keyboardist Jerry Harrison.

Lucio Dalla - Dallamericaruso. Il concerto perduto - Introduction by Benedetto Ferrara, Finaz and Beppe Dati - Tuesday, April 15.

The Teatro di Fiesole will show a concert by Lucio Dalla, recorded in New York in 1986, in an enhanced 4K version. It will be an opportunity to relive the music of that New York evening, telling the story of the creation of the famous song "Caruso", composed in Sorrento and one of the most famous in Dalla's repertoire and in Italian music.

Nick Cave - The Birthday Party - Mutiny in Heaven - La prima fila non è per i fragili - Introduction by Benedetto Ferrara, Finaz and Beppe Dati - Tuesday, April 15.

"Mutiny in Heaven | The Birthday Party. Nick Cave - The front row is not for the fragile" is a documentary that tells the candid and unfiltered story of the rise and fall of Birthday Party, the Nick Cave-led group formed in 1977 that later became the Bad Seeds. Produced by Wim Wenders, the film follows the events of a band caught up in the chaos of smoky clubs in London and Berlin.
